Who Are You When No One Cares

Who are you when no one cares
When no one’s there to judge but you?
Who’s in your mirror, stares
Right back at you, will you stay true?

What’s left of daylight-you, by night
What remains of character, beliefs?
Do you deviate a lot, or slight
What’s left of you when no one sees?

Are you still strong, when you don't have to
Do you still have things to say?
Who are you, when you're just left to
Do as as you please, and may?

Are you the sum of all your friends
Or do you have your own, free will?
Do you still make choice, amends
Do you live or do you kill?
